PC Dance Academy Organises “Star Icon Jammu” Competition

Jammu, September 12, 2026: PC Dance Academy, Lower Roop Nagar, Jammu, organised a grand “Star Icon Jammu” competition at Writer’s Club, Abhinav Theatre, Jammu. The competition featured talented participants in Dance, Singing and Fancy Dress Modelling.

The programme was graced by Jenab Sohail Kazmi Ji as the Chief Guest. Sh. Vivek Shekhar Sharma, S.P. North City Jammu, Sh. B.S. Baba of Baba Tour & Travel, Mr. Surindar Safal, Writer, Composer & Singer, and Mr. Keshav Chopra, Chairman, Samvedna Society, were among the distinguished guests.

Dr. Poonam Sharma, Mrs. Reena Dogra, Mr. Ravi Sharma, Viney Gupta, Dheeraj Uppal, Rajveer Manni and Er. King Kumar were also present as special guests.

The show was judged by Mr. Deepak Kumar, Voice of Kishore Da Jammu, and Mr. Yogeshwar Singh Yogi, while Miss Ridhima Sharma hosted the programme.

Around 50 children participated in the competition. The event had no age limit, with participants ranging from 3-year-old children to a 69-year-old lady, who impressed the audience with their dance performances.

Chief Guest Jenab Sohail Kazmi Ji appreciated the efforts of PC Dance Academy organiser Mrs. Poonam Sharma and praised the academy for providing a platform to emerging talent.

Mrs. Poonam Sharma has been working in the field of art and culture for the last 25 years and has continuously worked towards promoting and encouraging new talent.

All the guests appreciated the performances and said that such programmes should continue to be organised to provide young and emerging artists an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Mr. J.R. Sharma (Jackson), Jackson Group Jammu, also appreciated the initiative and said that his group has always worked towards identifying talented artists and providing them opportunities to perform on stage.
