Farooq Abdullah slams US-Israel strikes on Iran, warns of possible Global Conflict

Speaking to reporters, the former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister said Iran is an independent country and attacking it is wrong. He added that invading another nation or attempting to control it violates international principles.
Abdullah warned that the escalating conflict in West Asia could have serious consequences for the entire world. He cautioned that if tensions continue to rise, the situation might expand into a much larger conflict and could even lead to a third world war.
Referring to the public reaction over the developments, Abdullah said many Muslims are angered by the events but stressed that any demonstrations should remain peaceful. He also said it is the responsibility of the Government of India to clearly present its stand on the ongoing conflict.
Protests have been reported in parts of Kashmir following the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader in the US-Israel strikes, reflecting growing concern and anger among sections of the public over the developments in the region.
