According to an official notification, the provisional list has been issued following the resolution of the long-pending college allocation issue concerning selected MBBS candidates of SMVDIME. With the issuance of the selection list, the admission process for these students has formally moved forward.
JKBOPEE has advised the provisionally selected candidates to carefully verify their particulars mentioned in the list and report any discrepancies, if noticed, within the stipulated time. The board has also announced that detailed counselling and joining schedules will be notified separately, in line with the prescribed admission procedure.
Officials said the move brings relief to the affected students, who had been awaiting clarity on their college allocation. The decision is expected to ensure academic continuity and prevent further loss of time for the aspiring medical students.
Earlier, the Office of the Chief Minister, Jammu and Kashmir, had stated that the government had resolved the issue related to the allocation of SMVD College, paving the way for BOPEE to issue the counselling schedule and allow students to proceed with their medical education.
Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official JKBOPEE website for updates regarding counselling dates, document verification and further admission formalities.
