LG, CM Extend Greetings on Shab-i-Miraj, Pray for Peace and Harmony in J&K

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Miraj.
In his message, the Lieutenant Governor conveyed his best wishes, saying that the sacred occasion should inspire harmony, kindness and compassion among people. He prayed for good health, happiness and prosperity for all.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in his felicitation message, highlighted the profound spiritual significance of Shab-i-Miraj, describing it as a reaffirmation of the truthfulness, greatness and unwavering devotion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to Almighty Allah. He said the sacred night serves as a reminder of the Prophet’s exemplary life, marked by honesty, integrity and spiritual excellence.
The Chief Minister also offered prayers for lasting peace, prosperity and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir, urging people to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to build a society rooted in compassion, tolerance and unity.
