She said the Result Declaration Committee (RDC) meeting will be convened by the JKBOSE Secretary, with participation from the Directors of School Education for both Kashmir and Jammu divisions, along with the Joint Secretaries. The results will receive administrative approval directly, as the post of JKBOSE Chairman has remained vacant for nearly a year.
“The results will be approved administratively instead of being placed before the Chairman,” the minister told Greater Kashmir, adding that a permanent Chairman will be appointed soon after the declaration of results.
An official from JKBOSE said the Class 10 results will be announced on Wednesday morning, followed by the Class 12 results later in the afternoon.
The delay in result declaration was linked to the prolonged vacancy of the Chairman’s post, an issue that had been highlighted earlier by Greater Kashmir through a series of reports.
According to official figures, a total of 94,783 students appeared for the Class 10 examination this year, including 68,804 from Kashmir, 25,224 from winter-zone areas of Jammu division, 660 from Kargil, and 95 from Leh. Meanwhile, the examinations for Class 11 and Class 12 students were conducted starting November 19 and November 8, 2025, respectively.
