During the visit, Dr Mahajan interacted with students, principals and teachers and appreciated the Indian Army’s continued efforts towards promoting quality education and the holistic development of children in border areas of Poonch district.
A total of 100 students, three principals and 20 teachers participated in the event. Representatives from the respective Army Goodwill Schools also attended the ceremony to facilitate the collection and transportation of the donated educational materials to their schools.

Such collaborative initiatives strengthen civil-military relations, promote educational opportunities and contribute towards building a brighter future for children in remote border areas.
