Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather has convened a joint All-Party and Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting on January 30 in preparation for the upcoming Budget Session of the Legislature, scheduled to begin on February 2.
Speaking on the development, Rather said the meeting will be held jointly as the BAC includes representatives from almost all major political parties. The session is expected to focus on legislative business, agenda planning, and coordination among parties to ensure the smooth conduct of the Budget Session.
The meeting comes as part of routine parliamentary preparations ahead of one of the most important sessions of the Assembly, where key financial and policy matters are taken up for discussion.
