LG Sinha Orders Dismissal of Five Govt Employees Linked to Terror Outfits
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has stepped up action against the terror support network operating within government institutions by ordering the dismissal of five government employees found to be linked with militant organisations.
Those terminated include Mohd Ishfaq, a teacher; Tariq Ahmad Shah, a laboratory technician; Bashir Ahmad Mir, an assistant lineman; Farooq Ahmad Bhat, a field worker in the Forest Department; and Mohd Yousf, a driver in the Health Department.
According to investigations, the dismissed employees were actively associated with terror groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen. Despite holding positions of public trust and drawing salaries from the public exchequer, they were allegedly working to further the agenda of these militant outfits.
The terminations were carried out under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution, which allows dismissal without inquiry in the interest of the security of the state.
