S Jaishankar Welcomes Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto At SCO Meet In Goa

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday welcomed his Pakistani counterpart at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Goa. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister was greeted by Jaishankar as they posed for the media with folded hands.

Bhutto becomes the first senior leader from Pakistan to tour India in almost 12 years.

So far there has been no confirmation of a bilateral between India and Pakistan’s Foreign Ministers. Bhutto’s arrival in India for the SCO meet happens at a time when the two neighbouring countries are engaged in a very tenuous relationship over several issues which includes cross-border terrorism in Kashmir.
