Iranian state media reported that preparations are underway at Tehran\u2019s Grand Mosalla to place the body of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a US-Israel strike on Iran. The Grand Mosalla, a large prayer complex used for major state and religious gatherings, will host thousands of mourners during a three-day farewell ceremony before the funeral procession.
Meanwhile, Iran has issued a warning that it could target Israel\u2019s Dimona nuclear facility if the United States and Israel attempt to topple the Islamic Republic\u2019s leadership. The statement came after Israel\u2019s Defence Minister Israel Katz warned that any new leader brought in by the Iranian regime could be considered a legitimate target.
Amid rising tensions, the Israel Defence Forces reported another ballistic missile attack launched by Iran, triggering air raid sirens across central Israel, the Jerusalem region and parts of the West Bank.
Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had launched the nineteenth wave of Operation True Promise 4, describing it as a combined missile and drone assault against Israeli and American positions in the region.
The IRGC claimed the attacks destroyed several advanced radar systems belonging to the US and Israel and managed to bypass missile defence systems to strike key sites, including areas near the Israeli defence ministry and Ben Gurion Airport.
