In a simple ceremony, Dr Tariq Parvez Azad, Principal GMC Doda, who superannuated yesterday after rendering 39 years of service with an illustrious career as a Surgeon and then a Principal, was given an emotional farewell by College staff. The farewell function which held in College Lecture Hall was attended by only HODs, Administrative staff and Engineering staff. The speakers highlighted the achievements of Dr Tariq Azad and wished him good health for future ventures. Before relinquishing office of Principal GMC Doda, Dr Tariq Azad got MBBS course (100 seats) and Paramedical Degree courses (60 seats) successfully affiliated to University of Jammu. On 29th August, GM C Doda successfully submitted Compliance of Deficiencies to Secretary General of MCI for issuing Letter of Permission to GMC Doda to start MBBS courses from current session.
