{"id":15239,"date":"2021-03-11T14:14:02","date_gmt":"2021-03-11T08:44:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailytaskeen.com\/?p=15239"},"modified":"2021-03-11T14:14:02","modified_gmt":"2021-03-11T08:44:02","slug":"mamata-alleges-attack-in-nandigram-admitted-to-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailytaskeen.com\/?p=15239","title":{"rendered":"Mamata alleges attack in Nandigram; admitted to hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alleged that she was \u201cattacked\u201d during a \u201creligious program\u201d at Nandigram at the East Midnapore district of West Bengal.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Chief Minister, who is contesting the upcoming Assembly elections from Nandigram against her protege-turned-bete noire, Suvendu Adhikari, claimed that \u201cfour to five people slammed her car door on her feet.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"row leadFrstRow subscriberExclusive articleExclusive\">\n<p>Banerjee complained of \u201cpain in her legs\u201d, \u201cbreathlessness\u201d and \u201cfever\u201d. The chief minister was rushed to the city\u2019s premiere government hospital, SSKM; cutting short her poll campaign.<\/p>\n<p>The chief minister had camped in Nandigram since March 9, where she has taken four houses on rent. Earlier today, she had filed her nomination papers<\/p>\n<p>Polls in Nandigram will be held on April 1, the second phase of the eight phased Assembly elections in West Bengal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome four to five people came in and pushed me. There was no police present there,\u201d the Chief Minister alleged while she was on her way to Kolkata. \u201cIts a conspiracy,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>It is, however, not known how the security breach happened. Banerjee enjoys \u201cz plus\u201d security and she herself is the State\u2019s home minister.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA probe has been ordered,\u201d police sources said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BJP MP, Swapan Dasgupta, tweeted: \u201cWe pray for @MamataOfficial speedy recovery from her foot injury.
